Alternative Learning Opportunities

In Field Experiences

Students who take Environmental Sciences for non-majors (BIOL 2406) experience a unique lab opportunity at the TRAC. They use this 120-acre site as their “living lab” by taking actual water samples, looking at insect patterns, and many other experiments that may only be achieved by working in an actual outdoor site.

Distance Learning Opportunities

El Centro students whom wish to take online courses find that there are many options provided in our course schedules. This flexibility allows students to complete most if not all of their coursework anywhere they have internet access. This is a great option for students who have schedules that would otherwise prevent them from attending courses in a traditional setting. Check out our course schedules here: link to schedules
